What is Kemetic Services?

Our company name "Kemetic" (pronounced ke-met-ic) is adopted from an ancient culture that believed and lived as if "we are our brothers' keeper." It is our duty to serve and support those who may be vulnerable populations of society. It was believed that leaders should have high morals and ethical conduct. Additionally, human beings should strive to be kind and just toward one another. Most importantly, no one goes without the basic necessities of life or is denied the opportunity to live a full and meaningful life.

Our Mission

Kemetic Services LLC provides an inclusive environment which supports the health, self-esteem and basic living needs of at risk individuals in our community. Empowerment is achieved with a holistic approach and community resources that provide a firm foundation which fosters independence, self-respect and dignity in every person.

Our Philosophy

Kemetic Services is committed to ensuring that individuals with intellectual and mental health disabilities have equal access to seamless, beneficial and culturally suitable healthcare services and support. We believe that persons served must have a reasonable chance to live healthy, independent, stable and meaningful lives within the community. Clients should have autonomy of treatment using best practice treatment models that are instrumental in their independence, stabilization and long term well being. It is imperative to plan for outcomes that will enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities and their families. It is our belief that self understanding, identification of strengths and limitations are essential to achieving specific outcomes. Successful outcomes provide a strong foundation for independence and stabilization. This increases an individual's sense of well being and contributes to productivity, improved general health, and a healthier society.

Licensing

Kemetic Services is licensed by the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services. We are responsible for adherence to the guidelines set forth by the department.

Kemetic Services are nationally accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Founded in 1966, CARF is a private non-profit organization with internationally accepted standards that promote excellence in services and establishes consumer-focused standards to help organizations measure and improve the quality, value and outcomes of their programs and services.

How Can Kemetic Services, LLC Help?

Kemetic Services, LLC provides social, recreational and civic involvement in the community. We also provide appropriate support programs to assist individuals in becoming well adjusted and independent. We are dedicated to providing an environment where individuals can thrive and become the best they can be. This is just one of the many ways Kemetic Services, LLC upholds the spirit and meaning of Kemetic.

Kemetic Services, LLC uses Relias evidenced based training modules and Therap Electronic Record Keeping. Therap allows us to document and chart the process of the individual that we serve through their outcome based performance software. Relias allows Kemetic Services, LLC to provide the most sound clinical practices and develop knowledgeable staff.

With Kemetic Services, LLC individual's have staff that are experienced, dedicated direct support professionals who help prepare meals, perform housekeeping duties, and tend to each individual's needs.

We have two offices with one goal to foster a culture of service and advocacy for humanity. Our offices are located in Franklin and Norfolk, Va., as we serve the areas of Franklin, Hampton Roads, and South Hampton.
